This roof in Mount Hawthorn required some repairs. The roof was showing signs of wear and tear, with some cracked tiles, leaks and a few loose tiles. This was not only affecting the integrity of the roof in terms of protection from the weather but also the aesthetics of the roof line. Time was of the essence in order to prevent further damage to the roof and expensive roof repairs in the future.
Job Description
Roof had multiple problems that needed to be addressed. Cracked tiles and degraded sealants were allowing water ingress during rain events and causing leaks and potential damage to the interior of the home. How We Did It
Our team took the time to carefully inspect the roof, identifying all areas of concern and damage. Cracked or broken tiles were removed and replaced with matching new tiles. Loose tiles were also fixed securely back onto the roof. All flashings were carefully re-sealed with new high quality sealants. Rusted or degraded fasteners were replaced as required. We also went the extra step of not only re-sealing the flashings but also re bedding ridge caps and applying a long lasting roof sealant to all other potential water ingress points on the roof.
On completion of the repairs we then carried out a comprehensive roof clean to remove any dirt, moss and biological growth that can cause problems with your roof and longevity of our repairs.
